JOB SUMMARY

We’re hiring a domestic worker for the home of a senior couple in Eneka. The ideal candidate will serve as the live-in housekeeper to support the daily running of the household. They will be responsible for maintaining a clean, organised, and comfortable home environment, preparing nutritious meals, and assisting with general household chores.

The couple already has an in-house caregiver responsible for the direct care, medical and personal assistance of the seniors. However, during the caregiver’s scheduled afternoon breaks, the housekeeper will supervise and provide basic companionship to the senior citizens, ensuring their comfort until the caregiver resumes duty.

This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, patient, enjoys domestic work, and takes pride in keeping a home well-managed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Clean and maintain all areas of the home to a high standard.
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and disinfect living spaces regularly.
• Wash, iron, fold, and properly arrange clothing and household linen.
• Cook healthy, hygienic, and delicious meals according to the family’s preferences.
• Supervise the senior citizens during the caregiver’s noon break by ensuring they are safe, comfortable, and attended to if they require basic assistance.
• Perform other reasonable household duties assigned by the employer.

WHAT YOU NEED TO GET THE JOB

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to communicate in English.
• Physically fit and able to perform household chores.
• Willing to live within the employer’s residence.
• Good personal hygiene and neat appearance.
