Job Summary

An oil and gas service firm is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join her team at their headquarters in Port Harcourt. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing company transactions and reports, analysing financial data, and overseeing other financial activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications / Skills

• BA/BSc/HND in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• ACA/ACCA certification (an advantage but not compulsory)
• 3 years post ICAN work experience (if applicable)
• 4 years of relevant work experience in a core accounting role (for non ACA/ACCA holders)
• Strong financial acumen and prior experience handling financial accounts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
• Experience using accounting software (esp. Sage)Role: Accountant
• Good understanding of accounting schedules for financial reporting purposes.
• Experience with general ledger transactions and financial reporting

• Hands-on personality with a tolerance for diverse work environments
• Chartered status is an added advantage
